It is necessary

  • - wallpaper or wooden sticks;
  • - electrical tape or tape;
  • - cord.

Instructions

Step 1

There are three types of nunchaku: light (to develop reaction, speed and learn new techniques), combat, heavy (to increase endurance and muscle development). Just think about which ones you need, but remember, the heavy ones are made only of wood, the fighting ones are a little lighter, but they can also be made from wood.

Step 2

Find a roll of old and unwanted wallpaper or a long wooden stick. Take a cord with a diameter of about five to six millimeters. You will also need duct tape or tape. Cut the roll of wallpaper (or stick) across so that the length of the resulting piece is equal to the length of your arm from the middle of your palm to the elbow. You can make the handle longer, but you shouldn't make it shorter.

Step 3

The ideal size for the arms is slightly longer than your forearm. Roll both rolls of wallpaper as tightly as possible, they should be tubes with a diameter of three centimeters. The larger diameter is suitable for combat nunchucks. Cut off the excess parts, and secure the ends and the middle with electrical tape so that the rolls do not unwind.

Step 4

If you are using wood, the diameter of such a handle should also be equal to three centimeters. Peel the bark off the material and rub over the surface with sandpaper, it is desirable that the wood is even and smooth. Cover the handle with wood protective varnish.

Step 5

Step back from the edge of the handles by about five to six centimeters, make a through hole with a drill. Insert the cord into this hole. Tie a knot at the front ends of the handles to secure the rope.

Step 6

There should be a cord length between the handles so that your palm will fit. The rope will stretch over time, so you can make a length of 11-12 centimeters. Cut off the excess rope. Singe the ends of the cord so that they do not unwind. Wrap the sticks made from a roll of wallpaper completely with electrical tape.
