Cold, rain or snow can make every time you go outside seem like an unpleasant prospect. You don't always want to go to training in such conditions. I want to do exercises indoors, at home, or in the gym. Many people prefer to stay comfortable and warm. If you want to prepare very well for the season, then - as experienced players and coaches say - you need to run!

The most important thing is to find some kind of motivation in yourself so as not to miss workouts. Contrary to appearances, this is not as difficult as it seems. There are many arguments for the usual excuses: “I don’t want to because it’s cold outside”. The first thing you should do is revise your clothing and sporting goods shelf. Maybe your old gloves from last year are unusable and you need to buy new ones. The same applies to hats, scarves that protect from the cold. Buying new clothes will encourage you to go out and run. Not only because they will protect you from cold and precipitation, but they will also be a kind of stimulus for further efforts. Sometimes such a gift can effectively motivate people to exercise.
Condition, weight, health
If you stop running in the fall and winter and decide to wait until spring to do it, then you must reckon with the change in body condition. You will not be able to prepare in the spring for a level that would satisfy you. In addition, lack of running threatens to gain weight. When summer comes and you want to go to the beach, it may turn out that your swimsuit is too small because you put on weight. Autumn and winter are seasons when a large number of diseases appear, you can easily catch a cold. However, those who think they can protect themselves from this without going outside are mistaken. A very good motivation for running is the desire to protect yourself from infection. If you exercise, temper your body and you can avoid various diseases. Plus, you have the opportunity to test your stamina and snow running strength while fighting the wind.
Everything is difficult before it becomes easy
More often than not, imagination tells us scenarios worse than reality. After a few tens of meters of running, the athlete's body begins to heat up, so it does not feel cold, despite the fact that earlier it seemed that it was impossible to wait in the cold. The motivation for going to workout may be the thought that you will warm up pretty quickly. Even if the cold will give you a lot of trouble, you can eat and drink something energetic for a while after returning home. The cooler season is a very good time to try out the new boots you were going to start in during the competition on the trail running or in the mountains. This is the perfect time for such tests. You can do your testing calmly, because you have a lot of time until spring. It is also worth checking the equipment, for example, before starting. You can try how a new backpack or watch works. The community of other runners can effectively motivate them to go to workout. General conversations bring joy and a smile to your face. It's always easier together.
If you do not train on cold days, then after a while, despite the cold, wind and precipitation, you will see the result. And here's the thing. When it gets warmer, you will be very pleased with yourself and, despite the difficulties, you will prove to be persistent.
