Instructions

Step 1

Take a deep breath, lower your head into the water, and hold your breath for a few minutes. Repeat this exercise several times in a row.

Step 2

Doing the same, open your eyes underwater and look for an object at the bottom. Try not to wipe your eyes and face with your hands, this will help you get used to the irritation caused by water running down your face. Repeat the exercise several times.

Step 3

After taking a deep breath, sit down in the water so that your mouth is under the water, and exhale into the water. Repeat.

Step 4

Take a deep breath and, sinking into the water with your head, exhale the air. Get up and repeat the exercise 3-4 times without stopping or rushing.

Step 5

Taking a deep breath, sit down on the bottom, press your knees to your stomach and grab them tightly with your hands, lower your chin to your chest. This will make your body look like a float and float up. Stay in this position for a few seconds. Get up, catch your breath and repeat the exercise.

Step 6

At the very shore, where the depth is up to the knee, lie on your back, rest your hands on the bottom and, lowering the back of your head into the water, raise your pelvis. Take a deep breath and lift your hands off the bottom. Your body will be free to stick to the surface of the water.

Step 7

Repeat the previous exercise in a deeper place. Don't panic if water gets into your nose and mouth.

Step 8

From the "float" position, stretch your arms and legs (face lowered into the water) and lie in this position (arrow) for a few seconds. Take a starting position and stand on the bottom. In the "arrow" position, turn onto your side and then onto your back.

Step 9

Standing at a depth just below the waist, take a deep breath, sit down, join your arms above your head, and pushing hard from the bottom, let your body slide in the water.

Step 10

As you glide through the water, begin to kick energetically. Use your arms to alternate between strokes (arm movements resemble a windmill).

And now you are already swimming!
