Instructions

Step 1

At the heart of high-speed endurance is a well-developed rational technique of movements. To swim quickly, a person must have high buoyancy, which is characterized by a horizontal position of the body and accelerated execution of the corresponding movements of the hands in a certain rhythm. In other words, if you want to swim quickly, work out a technique in which two main points stand out - the movement of the arm extended forward and the subsequent jerk. When these movements are coordinated with each other, the speed of movement on the water increases significantly.

Step 2

It is quite natural that to work out these elements, you will need to train in the pool at least twice a week and preferably under the guidance of a professional trainer. The training cycle consists of several stages.

Step 3

First, you need to warm up the muscles, breaking the hundred-meter distance four times with breaks of 20 seconds. This can take up to 15% of the entire workout. After that, start practicing movements and repulsion (10 to 20% of the time). The training continues with a series of heats - 6x200 with half a minute rest and 12x100 with breaks of 15 seconds. This can take up to 70% of your training time. At the end of the exercise, exercises are done to cool the muscles.

Step 4

If you do not have a great desire to master all the subtleties of this sport, then it will be quite enough to master the lightweight methods of swimming, combined into several groups. The main focus here is on practicing leg movements used in various swimming styles - crawl, breaststroke, dolphin and sideways.
