At the London Olympics, there were no scandals associated with unfair refereeing in relation to Russia. Also, domestic athletes were not noticed in the use of doping, with the exception of the cyclist Victoria Baranova, who was disqualified even before the start of the Olympics.

And the Royal Statistical Society, together with statisticians from Imperial College London, created their own table of results for the Olympics, taking into account the number of medals won, the population of the country, the size of the national team, as well as the GDP per capita.
