Only the goalkeeper can prevent you, and even then only if he is lucky. But on the other hand - nerves that can hinder even the most experienced athletes. So how can you score a penalty kick without letting the team down?

Step 1
Do not worry. As stated above, excitement is your main contender. Abstract yourself from the surrounding reality. Only the ball and the goal should remain in your world. Of course, the goalkeeper will not disappear anywhere thanks to your power of thought, but you can easily turn him off from the game if you do not hit him directly.
Step 2
Don't be cunning. There are, of course, masters who try to outsmart the goalkeeper by shooting a penalty kick, for example the famous “Roman” Francesco Totti. However, you can easily outsmart not only the goalkeeper, but also yourself if you start to be very smart. Moreover, when you are trying to outplay the goalkeeper with cunning, at the most inopportune moment you can get nervous and hit the ball weakly. It's still not hockey, it's better here for sure.
Step 3
Choose a corner. If you are not cunning, then you should not hit directly. It is easiest for the goalkeeper to take a direct shot on goal. Choose a corner, right or left, it doesn't matter. The main thing is to choose it before the run. When the whistle has already blown, but you have not budged yet, you should know exactly which corner you are hitting. Do not hesitate to look into this corner, if you hit hard into the nine, no goalkeeper will be able to get the ball out of there.
Step 4
Hit hard. It makes no sense to beat weakly in the corner - the goalkeeper can easily catch or hit the slowly flying ball. Not looking at the gate is also not worth hitting - you can strike by, as they say, "on the sparrows."
Step 5
Don't look at the goalkeeper. It so happens that goalkeepers try in every possible way to distract the kicker. It is also bad form to distract the goalkeeper himself. It's still better to be honest, anyway, the kicker always has an advantage, since he knows where he will hit, but the goalkeeper does not.
