On February 7, the long-awaited opening ceremony of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games will take place. Everyone's favorite and so popular biathlon in Russia is a long-awaited event! The individual race will take place on February 9, the pursuit race on February 15, the general start race on February 18, and the relay race on February 22. As for the women's biathlon, the individual race will take place on February 9, and the sprint will take place on February 13.

This sport was once considered entertainment for extreme sportsmen, but in 1998 it was also included in the list of Olympic sports.
