We all want to have a perfect healthy body, but how many excuses can we find just not to go to the gym! We are discouraged by children, tiredness after work, the distance to the fitness room, a hungry husband and many other "circumstances" that can forever separate you from your cherished dream of a slim body and a toned tummy. Unfortunately, these are only psychological barriers that must be dismissed forever. So let's take a look at the most popular excuses for going to the gym.

Fatigue

The leader, of course, is the phrase "I'm tired." Of course, when there is a lot of trouble around you: work, home, family, queues at the store, traffic jams or cooking, it is difficult to force yourself to go and play sports. Better to lie down on the sofa and watch your favorite TV show.

The cause of fatigue and general malaise can only be an incorrectly selected regimen or type of activity. We all share according to the physiological principle, there are "owls" and there are "larks". The former will always be sleepy in the morning, and the latter will come unconscious in the evening. Therefore, define for yourself who you are and choose a workout according to this data. A light workout, such as swimming, body balance, or stretching, is a good place to start. It is better to go in for sports immediately after work, when the body still maintains its tone and vigor and is not in the mood for rest.

The second excuse is that the gym is very far away.

Unfortunately, a modern person is rarely tuned in to overcome long distances, especially when it is raining, snowing, winding, or even pleasant sunny weather outside.

The reason for this is the stereotype that playing sports requires exclusively professional equipment and a special room. Well, if you are a long way to the nearest fitness center, even regular active walking may be an alternative. For example, 8000 steps a day in quiet mode can replace an hour of exercise on the machines.

In addition, a good workout can be done even at home, for squats, push-ups from the floor or, for example, from a chair, standard lunges and active hand movements, no devices are needed, but only desire. Add your favorite music to this, and now your home workout is not much different from regular aerobics.

Sports are boring

Moving on, the third popular excuse is that exercise is boring. Many who barely managed to come to workout begin to yawn or count the minutes to the end within ten minutes.

The reason for this is trivial - you chose an uninteresting workout for yourself. Before you start exercising, it is important to determine the type of fitness you really enjoy. It is important to remember that all people are divided into four types of temperament. Based on this, choleric people need to select active, highly emotional training, preferably group training, which includes many intense movements. Melancholic people, on the other hand, prefer calm and measured exercises, which make it possible to collect their thoughts and perform movements carefully and accurately. Sanguine people prefer active fitness, for example, aerobics, dance or capoeira. Whereas phlegmatic people prefer exercise on simulators.

The fourth excuse is I don't see the results of the workout.

They warm up this statement with invented examples that, they say, a friend managed to lose weight in three weeks, and I have been doing it for the second month and still nothing.

The reason for this lies in the same psychology. You simply set a wrong goal for yourself, and do not know how to achieve it. It is better to consult with an instructor before starting a workout, who will tell you how you can achieve the desired results and develop the necessary set of exercises for this.

Not enough time

Well, in conclusion, it should be mentioned about the main excuse that many of us use - there is no time for sports.

The reason for this may be simply incorrect planning of the daily schedule. For some reason, many are convinced that fitness takes a long time. But it is optimal to exercise in the gym 2-3 times a week in order to get a healthy and attractive body. Taking three hours a week for sports isn't hard. Try to identify the main "time killers" and reduce this figure. These "time wasters" can include gatherings on social networks or stupid shopping trips. In addition, do not forget that a family is mutual assistance, and therefore a husband or a child can cook food or clean up the house two or three times a week.
