Building muscle mass is a complex process. And it is difficult not only due to the fact that we have to change the way of life we are used to, giving up some of its charms. Many simply do not have the will to complete what they have begun. This is due to the fact that a person simply loses the desire to practice, looking at the results of his efforts. But it is the result that is the incentive here.
The central nervous system (CNS) is responsible for the growth of muscle tissue. She strives to ensure that all processes in our body proceed smoothly and without any changes. When the human body begins to periodically experience additional physical stress, many processes lose their usual rhythm of flow, and the central nervous system enters the so-called “stressful” state. It is during this period that the intensive growth of muscle tissue begins. However, the human body has the property of getting used to various conditions and stresses. This addiction is due to the activity of the central nervous system. Being in a “stressful” state, it rearranges some processes in our body, changing the rhythm of their course. Thus, the central nervous system gradually returns to a state of relative rest, in which it was previously. The time it takes for the central nervous system to rebuild the processes occurring in the body depends on the individual characteristics of this organism and ranges from 2 to 6 months. After this period, the central nervous system partially or completely comes out of the "stress" state, which greatly slows down the growth of muscle tissue. It is during this period that it is required to take a break from bodybuilding classes lasting from 2 to 4 weeks. This break is necessary in order for the rhythm of the processes in the body, rearranged by the central nervous system, to return to its original state. After this, workouts can be safely resumed, periodically taking breaks. In this way, excellent results can be achieved.
