Often, those who come to a fitness center immediately begin to treat a personal trainer with great confidence, seeing him as a professional. However, it is not uncommon for a coach to make mistakes that cost us dearly, because not only the figure, but also health can suffer from his wrong actions.
To understand that you have ended up with a specialist, and not a self-taught, you need to immediately navigate: where does your training begin?
If you were examined at the fitness center, conducted various tests and even asked for a doctor's note about the permitted loads, this is a good sign. This means that here, from the very beginning, they approach their work responsibly and professionally.
However, in this case, it is worth paying attention to a personal trainer.
In order not to be mistaken, it is worth excluding his wrong actions. Therefore, girls should know for themselves what is the best workout.
The fact is that the body must gradually get used to the stress, and it is worth starting with simple cardio workouts: running, walking, exercise bike, step trainers. If you are given other exercises from the first days, quit these workouts.
What actions betray a layman?
- The coach immediately gives exercises on the ball to bare feet or on the ball. In the first months, your joints and ligaments are simply not ready for this. Such exercises should be done only six months after joining fitness.
- There is such a simulator "upper block". It is also not worth starting with it at first. The fact is that the muscles are not ready for it, although this exercise is one of the best for the back. And in the future, it is still better to do the pull of the vertical block in front of you, and not behind the head, because in many cases even the coach makes mistakes in this exercise.
- The hyperextension simulator is also not suitable at first. And girls shouldn't do it at all - these exercises give additional volume in the waist area. And in general, bending over with weight to the sides is harmful to the spine.
- Exercising with a barbell or dumbbells on a flat bench causes the lower pectoral muscles to develop, leading to lower chest muscles. It is better to do this on an incline bench - this is how the upper bundle of pectoral muscles will develop and the chest will rise.
To understand that you are in the hands of a good coach, look at his appearance. If a man is over 50, then he may slightly not meet the requirements for the Apollo figure, but for a young coach, a fit figure is an indicator that he knows what to do with your figure.
If the coach is a girl, look at her. Chances are, your figure will be sculpted in the same pattern because it will give you exercises that work well for it. If you like her figure, you can safely deal with her.
… Do not hesitate to leave a person who cannot give you a result. Perhaps you just do not fit together - it happens.
