The power of the blow is important for the vast majority of contact martial arts. It must be practiced at almost every workout in order to achieve high results in this indicator.
It is necessary
- - gloves;
- - bandages;
- - makiwara;
- - pear / bag;
- - boxing paws.
Instructions
Step 1
Learn the correct punching technique. Before hitting on the force, you need to understand well the competent fist formulation. Otherwise, it could be easily knocked out or otherwise seriously injured. Ask your trainer to show you how to keep your fist when punching and how to properly twist your fingers around it. Practice everything while in the air. Let this be a warm-up before the main work in each workout.
Step 2
Start hone your makiwara hitting skills on your own. After understanding the technique, it is important to consolidate this skill. Wrap the bandages and put on boxing gloves. Walk up to the makiwara and strike with each hand. Then - "two", "three", again "two" and "three". Alternate combinations.
Step 3
Make sure your shoulder is fully extended when striking. Also, don't forget about footwork. They move in the direction of hand movement. Each subsequent blow must be faster and stronger than the previous one. This is precisely the key to success.
Step 4
Reinforce the force of impact on the pear or bag. This is already the next more serious stage, since these shells are much tougher than the makiwara. By this time, you can already put on lightweight gloves, but still do not forget to wrap up the bandages.
Step 5
Hit the bag with at least 300 hits each workout, constantly increasing your pace and strength. Ask your partner or coach to hold the equipment so that it does not wobble. React to all his comments by straightening the technique or increasing the speed or power of the blow.
Step 6
Work with a coach. Now that your fist has adapted to the hard work, consolidate the result. Ask your mentor to put boxing paws on both hands. Do some warm-up strokes. Then proceed with combinations of 2-3 hits in a row, increasing each time the force of the application.
Step 7
Make sure that the coach himself involuntarily stepped back after each combination. Thus, move towards it in a forward motion. Do this work for 30-40 minutes at each training session. Over time, you will be able to deliver a very strong and fast punch.
