To maintain optimal performance, a modern person needs regular physical activity. The lack of muscle activity can be compensated, for example, by exercising on a stationary bike. Like any training device, such a simulator can be useful if used correctly.
Your bike race will take about 30 minutes. You will drive 15 kilometers through unforgettable scenic spots (forest paths, hills, valleys …) and finish high in the mountains at sunset. And all this is in the X-Fit Altufevo club as part of the new X-Race My Ride program.
X-Race My Ride is a unique cycling program that simulates cycling. The workout is based on the principles of the proven X-Fit Smart Fitness training methodology system and combines smart exercise with immersive technology to create a pleasant journey with health benefits.
The new Life Fitness IC6 bikes are equipped with power sensors and provide real-time feedback on individual exercise levels. This allows you to work out different muscle groups without overloading the heart: the safety and effectiveness of training are guaranteed.
“Cycles are equipped with a system for calculating and dosing the load, which makes it possible to provide the required level for everyone involved and fully imitate professional cycling,” says Anton Shapochka, an expert of the federal network of X-Fit fitness clubs. - In addition to the fitness component, the training combines a number of unique opportunities: firstly, interactive - full immersion in the race thanks to the stunning video that is broadcast on the screen or wall; secondly, "driving" music. As a result, you get a boost of energy and minus 300-800 kcal after one workout."
“Cycling remains at its peak this year. We always take into account current trends and at the same time focus on an individual approach, we try to choose the optimal training complex for each client and fix the appropriate formats in the training schedule, - says Irina Troska, fitness director of the X-Fit chain. - The bike program is held in two formats: X-Race Air - a light version for beginners and those who have returned to training after a long break, and X-Race Pro - for advanced users. As for the X-Race My Ride program, it is absolutely special: the equipment is so technologically advanced and curious that each workout turns into an unforgettable adventure - bright, positive and, of course, effective in terms of fitness results."
X-Race My Ride is a flexible format that allows people with different skill levels to train. X-Fit offers the best novelties of the fitness industry, the latest equipment and the latest technology - each of our clients can take advantage of all this.
As a basic workout, X-Race My Ride helps you prepare for real-life cycling. After the course, you can safely join the trips with Anton Shapochka. The next bike ride will take place in April in Holland, the next one is scheduled for summer.

Exercise bike: health benefits
An exercise bike is becoming an increasingly common exercise tool, overtaking other technical aids used for sports in popularity. It allows you to keep fit without leaving your home, and makes it possible to smoothly increase the load without exhausting yourself. The exercise bike can only be useful if certain medical requirements are met. When starting classes, it is recommended that you first consult with your doctor in order to identify possible contraindications. For some chronic diseases, it is better to refuse to use the simulator. You should also not forget about self-control during training. The easiest way to monitor exercise is to measure your heart rate. If you notice that the body is recovering for a very long time after exertion, try taking a break for two to three days.
You should not exhaust yourself with training - too long and excessively high load can lead to overtraining, cause lethargy and apathy.
Why exercise on a stationary bike is beneficial
Best of all, such a simulator works to increase the overall endurance of the body. Even a short pedal rotation improves the activity of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. With such a load, the cells of the body are intensively supplied with oxygen, which has the best effect on metabolic processes. A trained heart is the key to the correct functioning of all other body systems. Regular exercise on a stationary bike reduces the risk of heart and vascular problems and stabilizes blood pressure. The simulator makes it possible to strengthen the muscles of the thigh, lower leg, buttocks and back. With regular exercises, posture is corrected, the risk of osteochondrosis and radiculitis is reduced. With a moderate load, an exercise bike is an indispensable tool for the prevention of joint diseases. Exercises on a simulator that simulates cycling, put in order all the internal organs of a person. Enhanced production of enzymes begins, and the additional oxygen supplied to the cells is used to oxidize compounds that contain fat. An exercise bike is one of the most effective ways to deal with overweight and obesity.
It is best if your simulator has a built-in display system that can be used to track how many calories you burned during your workout.
An exercise bike is also a great way to combat harmful stress. The stress on the main muscle groups has a beneficial effect on the nervous system. An appropriate workout environment will help enhance the anti-stress effect of your workouts. A well-ventilated area, music that sets the rhythm of movement - all this helps to get the most out of such physical activity.
