Instructions

Step 1

First, clean the skis of dirt and wipe the skis, bindings, poles and boots separately. Stir the tooth powder and ammonia to the consistency of liquid sour cream and clean the surface of the skis with paper towels soaked in the mixture. The composition will simultaneously clean the skis of dirt and polish them.

Step 2

After cleaning, wipe the skis again twice, first with a damp cloth and then with a dry one. Remove grease from the underside of the skis with a special solvent. Take out and dry the inner shoes, wash and dry the outer shoes well enough.

Step 3

Before loosening the springs of the fasteners, write down the values of the indicators in a notebook, and then release the springs, relieving them of tension. Never store skis in the summer with the rear bindings springs cocked.

Step 4

After releasing the springs, apply a thick layer of paraffin wax to the sliding plane of each ski. You can also use a special ski wax for this. Rub the edges with ointment.

Step 5

After completely dry, insert the inner shoes into the outer shoes, fill the shoes from the inside with crumpled newspapers, and then fasten the buckles and fasteners. Ski equipment can now be stowed away for seasonal storage.

Step 6

You can store skis indoors, in which there are no strong changes in temperature and humidity. Place the skis upright for storage, with the toes facing up, and do not tie them together. Do not hang the sticks, but place them nearby. Turn the ski boots with the soles up.
