Fat burners are all substances that accelerate the process of losing weight. There are a lot of them and you have already heard about many of them (L-carnitine, caffeine, guarana, ephedrine, clenbuterol, etc.). Perhaps they even used it to no avail, which is not surprising, because these are accelerators of the diet, and not its "substitutes". Fat burners will only work if the basic principles of weight loss are followed.
All weight loss boosters can be divided into two popular groups:
- thermogenics (increase the basic metabolism by increasing the body temperature by several degrees);
- lipotropics (accelerate the breakdown of fat to fatty acids or block its synthesis).
By the way, the most effective accelerators are combinations of several groups (thermogenic + lipotropic).
Many truly effective weight loss boosters are prohibited by law (for example, ephedrine), but I will not now consider the ethical side of the issue, playing with words like our deputies. I'll just give you information to own it.
Caffeine or Guarana
They stimulate the nervous system in general and stimulate the production of norepinephrine, which triggers fat burning in our body. That is, you not only burn fat in your body faster, but you also feel good in training in conditions of a lack of calories. This is very important, because you are transformed from a "sleepy fly" into a normal person.
And what has guarana to do with it? Because it is actually a long-lasting coffee. Guarana is known for its fruit, which has twice the caffeine than coffee beans, and this explains its "invigorating effect".
It is caffeine that is put in most of the modern sports "pre-workout" and fat-burning complexes. In particular, it is in NO-Xplode from BSN and Jack3d (USP Labs).
You can buy a more expensive supplement or cheaper pills at the pharmacy, or even just a can of coffee at the store. This substance has proven beneficial properties. That is why, if an athlete is found to have an increased concentration of caffeine in the blood at the Olympics, then he will be disqualified for doping.
Recommended dosage: 3-6 mg of coffee for every pound of your body, taken 30-60 minutes before training.
L-carnitine
This curious supplement can be easily purchased at any pharmacy or sports nutrition store (the difference is in the form and dosage). Carnitine is a transport substance that delivers fatty acids to the "energy stations" of human cells - mitochondria, where they are safely burned to create ATP energy! It is very important to understand that carnitine alone does not burn fat. It only facilitates the process of fat burning. And only when there is a lack of calories in the daily diet (it will help you lose weight only when you are on a diet). From this we can conclude that carnitine is just a supplement that stimulates energy metabolism in the cell. With the help of L-carnitine, the diet will work more effectively.
And yet, L-carnitine helps to increase the secretion of enzymes involved in digestion. And this, in turn, leads to an increase in the digestibility of food, especially protein. This is very good news, because on a diet you are forced to increase the amount of protein to compensate for the lack of carbohydrates and fats.

Ephedrine

About alpha and beta receptors in the human body

Clenbuterol
A drug that stimulates "good" beta-adrenergic receptors, directly accelerating fat burning in tissues. It is slightly more difficult to buy than yohimbine. This drug is actively used in modern medicine for the treatment of asthma, therefore it is widely represented in the pharmacy network. The pharmacist will most likely ask for a prescription.
In the process of acting on beta-receptors, clenbuterol increases the release of adrenaline and norepinephrine, which further accelerates fat burning. In addition, clenbuterol increases the secretion of thyroid hormones (this speeds up the metabolic rate) and blocks the deposition of fat. Add to this the fact that clenbuterol is a pronounced anti-catabolic, i.e. prevents muscle breakdown during a hungry diet.
Recommended dosage: for men 100-140 mcg per day for 2 weeks. Then a break is needed (the body gets used to the drug).
Growth hormone (somatotropin)
Peptide hormone of the anterior lobe of the human pituitary gland. It was named so because it tends to cause bone growth in length in children and adolescents. Growth hormone has a very powerful anabolic effect on muscle growth and also has a powerful catabolic effect on fat cells. The first becomes possible due to increased protein synthesis, and the second - due to a strong effect on lipolysis and carbohydrate metabolism in the body.
Recommended dosage: 4-20 units. per day, broken down into as many injections as possible.
Theroid hormones
(T3 and T4) = triiodothyronine (3 iodine molecules) and thyroxine (4 iodine molecules). But in fact, it is T3 that is active. The main property of thyroid hormones is the activation of oxidation in the cell.
This leads to an acceleration of metabolism (increased heat release, the formation of glucose from fats and proteins, stimulation of the breakdown of fats, etc., etc.). A very important substance for weight loss. but very dangerous for two reasons.
The acceleration of metabolism in conditions of a lack of calories (diet) will also lead to the loss of muscle tissue. Moreover, the higher the dose of T3, the more muscles will burn along with fat. The fewer calories in the diet when using T3, the more muscle will burn. Therefore, one of the most effective ways to use T3 is to combine it with the "anti-catabolic" Clenbuterol. The production of your own T3 and T4 is feedback controlled, i.e. "Plus - minus = interaction"! Dinitrophenol (DNP)
At one time, this chemical was called the most powerful fat burner of all existing and the most dangerous (if the recommended dose is doubled, then every second person dies from it). The tongue does not rise to call this chemical a medicine or an additive.
