Since ancient times, people have been engaged in overcoming mountain peaks, but if earlier this dangerous adventure was due to the search for better living conditions, then from the beginning of the 19th century, mountaineering and rock climbing began to develop as sports. If you are not looking to take pride of place in international competitions, but simply want to get new experiences, there are some tips for beginner climbers to learn.

Before embarking on a dangerous journey, carefully study the track. Ask your predecessors about the best ways to climb the rock, learn about the possible dangers that lie in wait for you on the road. Watch the lift with your eyes, remember all the ledges you can grab onto, check the terrain and the size of the rocks.

Step 3

Do a good warm up before climbing the rock. Loosen all joints, pull the tendons a little. If you are prone to sprains, attach elastic bandages to vulnerable parts of your body such as your shins and wrists. Take care and protect your bones: put on a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. Tie the laces on your sneakers tightly. It is best to wear shoes with spikes or non-slip soles.

Step 4

As you climb up, trust your insurance and your partner. Do not pull the rope too tight; it should be slightly relaxed. Having climbed to a small height, purposely fall down: you will feel how the safety rope works, this will help you avoid fear at high altitudes.

Step 5

Do not place your entire body weight on your hands. Experienced climbers know that when climbing a summit, support should be on your feet, as when walking up a ladder. The hands are mainly used for balance and palpation of the leg protrusions.

Step 6

Do not take large steps: rise gently and gradually. Do not put the whole foot on a support, cling to it with your thumbs, stand on your toes.

Step 7

Keep your arms straight and your legs bent. If you lift the wrong way, you will feel arm fatigue in the middle of the journey when you need proper rest. To maintain performance, alternately lower your hands down and chat with them, relaxing as much as possible.

Step 8

Change the pace depending on the sections of the track. Move faster on difficult climbs, slower and more relaxed on easier climbs. Don't hold your breath.
