There is also a Visa Virtual card. It is intended solely so that people can use it to pay for goods and services on the Internet. This card is a kind of addition to any existing card (this includes Visa Electron and Visa Instant Issuer). But to use a Visa Virtual card, you need to issue it.

You can make purchases on the Internet thanks to a special code. This code (CVV2) looks like a three-digit number. Its purpose is to ensure the safety of the operation being performed.

On Visa Classic and Visa Classic Mini cards, as well as Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, this code is located on the reverse side, on the strip intended for the cardholder's signature, less often - to the right of this strip. As for Visa Virtual cards, the CVV2 code for them becomes available at the time of card issuance.

To make a purchase in a particular online store using a bank card (including credit cards), first select the appropriate payment option from the list offered on the online store's website. After that, enter the number and validity period of your card, your last name and first name (please note that the first and last name must be written in Latin letters - just like on the card itself), as well as the CVV2 code. The system after making the payment will inform you about the result of the operation.

Most online stores require entering the CVV2 code (code verification) when paying for goods and services. All cards listed at the beginning of the article are configured to check this code by default. It turns out that the operation cannot be carried out without entering the CVV2 code. However, in some online stores, this code is not required. But it is worth noting that it will be impossible to pay for goods and services using a card that is configured for CVV2 verification.

In this case, you can apply for a Visa Virtual card. It will allow you to carry out any operations in online stores - both requiring and not requiring CVV2 code verification.

There is another option for solving the problem with the inability to pay for goods and services. You can write an application in the prescribed form to cancel the CVV2 check. This can be done at any branch of the bank serving you. So you will be able to carry out transactions in online stores without checking the CVV2 code.
