Swimming is one of the few sports that involve almost all muscle groups and have a minimum of contraindications. That is why swimming pools are becoming more and more popular among lovers of a healthy lifestyle.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose a pool. This step is one of the most important before starting classes. Find out all the places in your city where there is an opportunity to swim in the pool, contact each of them to view and receive information about the opening hours, the cost of visiting the pools, about their preferences.
Step 2
Get a medical examination. You need to go to the clinic and make an appointment with a therapist. Your doctor will examine you for infections and skin conditions. If they are not found in you, then you will be given a Form 1 certificate, which entitles you to visit the pool. Such certificates have been canceled, but in reality they are still applied.
Step 3
Get a swimsuit. The one in which you flaunted on the beach will not suit you. Check out a sporting goods store, which sells one-piece swimsuits, in which it is customary to go to the pool. In addition, you will need a cap and swimming goggles.
Step 4
Select the type of visit and purchase a subscription. You will be offered several options for visiting the pool: without restrictions, in the evening or in the morning, on weekends. Consider all your activities, and then buy the desired subscription.
Step 5
Visit the pool on schedule. Swimming is a sport, so swooping in it can be unhealthy. Start with minimal loads and gradually increase them in proportion to the time spent in the pool.
Step 6
Practice on your own, in a group, or individually with a swim coach.
