In 2012 alone, several bicycle parades were held in the capital of Russia. The largest of them, with more than 5,000 participants, took place on May 20. Bicycle parades are held within the framework of the Year of Cycling Development, but their organizers promise that such events will be held in Moscow in the future.

Participation is completely free, but the only condition for those who join the bike parade is the complete absence of any political slogans.

It is clear that only girls could take part in it. In addition, there were special requirements for the dress code of cyclists: they must wear outfits in the style of the 60s. Therefore, the girls, dressed in fitted dresses with wide skirts, had stylized hairstyles on their heads, and their bicycles were decorated with baskets of flowers.
