The hosts of the 2016 UEFA European Football Championship are among the top contenders to win the tournament. Historically, the French national team won their only victory in the championship of the continent at the home Euro.
The French national team's bid for the 2016 UEFA European Football Championship has included 23 players. The host team of the tournament included footballers from the leading clubs in Europe, as well as a legionnaire playing far beyond the Old World.
