Unsportsmanlike behavior means a number of actions and various actions that do not correspond to the image of a real athlete.
Absolutely every person has his own established character, his own way of thinking and behavior. All people are subject to stress, anxiety, all sorts of situations where there is a risk of losing their temper and even a lack of sleep or a bad mood can play a bad joke in the process of communicating with others. And those who are dedicated to sports are no exception. A person involved in any kind of sport is always surrounded by such athletes, mentors, possibly fans, he is almost constantly forced to interact with people and whether he wants it or not, he has to constantly communicate with them. Sport is the main activity; it is a job that also brings good earnings. And, as in any field of activity, there is its own business, work etiquette, there is also the concept of sports behavior, which implies a culture of communication, restraint. An athlete must be able to control himself, not let emotions take over, because he is a public person and has no right to show a bad example to those who look up to him as an athlete, including young people. He bears great responsibility and is obliged to observe the culture of sports communication.
Examples of unsportsmanlike behavior
Probably very few of those who do not worry about their failures, problems, unjustified hopes. Most likely, such people simply do not exist. And this is normal, everyone wants the best for themselves, their loved ones and gets upset if their efforts do not bring the desired results. But the big difference is not in the attitude to when something went wrong, but in the behavior, how violent a person reacts and breaks down on the people around him. If an athlete begins to behave defiantly outside the limits of public sports events, to be rude, raises his voice and does not restrain himself in his expressions, then this can be attributed to some kind of bad manners, immorality. But if this situation occurs before our very eyes, and even more so in the direction of coaches, fans, officials, then undoubtedly such behavior should be recognized as unsportsmanlike, it can in no way correspond to the permissible rules.
