In 2018, Russia will host the FIFA World Cup, the games of which will be hosted by eleven cities. And although for football fans their central and training fields will probably be closed, there are clearly no problems in finding a stadium or a sports ground in the capital.
Moscow sports
Sportivnaya is not only a metro station. This is also part of the expression that characterizes the capital of Russia as a city with excellent sports infrastructure and where you can play football at any time of the year.
The real boom, when many sports facilities appeared in Moscow, came at the end of the 1970s. Then the capital of the USSR was preparing to host the Summer Olympics-80. A new impetus for the renovation of existing stadiums and gyms and the appearance of new ones with modern artificial surfaces was the inclusion of Moscow in the list of cities of the world championship.
The main arena of Moscow, Russia and the World Cup is Luzhniki, which in 2008 became the elite stadium of UEFA. It is here that the final match is scheduled to take place.
Professional stadiums
It is not easy for an ordinary city dweller, unless he is, of course, a player of one of the master teams like Spartak or CSKA and does not play in the national championship, it is not easy to get to the stadium where professionals play. You need to either buy a ticket at the box office and become a fan, or get a job there.
It is unlikely that he will be able to play amateur football on the main field of Lokomotiv, which is threatened with the demolition of the Eduard Streltsov or Spartak torpedo stadium (outside the World Cup and European competitions it will be called Otkritie Arena). There are simply no other similar stadiums within Moscow. After all, arenas owned by Dynamo and CSKA are being built practically from scratch. And old stadiums, such as Krasnaya Presnya, Krylia Sovetov, Metallurg and others, have long turned into a kind of walk-through yards. Or they were sold out for shopping centers and casinos that once existed.
Amateur stadiums
With this group, consisting of several dozen sports facilities and living mainly on rent, there are definitely no problems. And on the Internet there are many specialized sites and forums of Moscow football fans with a lot of offers to “play”. The payment principle is also simple. Each football stadium or indoor arena (hall) has a fixed cost per hour, which is divided among all players. Accordingly, the more players come, the less they will eventually have to pay. An important point for modern "motorized" football fans is the fact that almost every lawn or gym owner provides parking for players who arrive, as a rule, either before or after work.
Moscow's investment program includes the construction of 12 more sports and recreation centers and several dozen football fields.

They say that 500 rubles is not money for Moscow. But if, nevertheless, they are not bundled to pay for the football field, then it is unnecessary to be upset. After all, you can practice or play not only on artificial turf of the latest generation, but also on an ordinary lawn outside the city, even on a courtyard or school playground. There are enough of them in Moscow even now, in the era of massive developments in the metropolis.
