In the second group, those who prefer to shout “Goal!” While sitting on the couch watching TV. Finally, a third of the fans are going to the stadium and watching games at home or in a bar. Which of these options is better - everyone determines independently, a priori considering himself right.
Pros of the stadium
Football is an outdoor sports game of chance. It is this indisputable fact that is the main argument of those fans and fans (and these concepts, contrary to common misconception, are by no means synonyms) who are ready to heroically, at any time of the day or year, come to the stadium. Who supports their club, not sparing their voice and hands. Moreover, some of these fans, and these are the fans, regularly attend not only the home matches of their favorite Dynamo or CSKA, but also follow them to other cities, including the Urals and even the Far East. The list of other arguments of inveterate visitors to stadiums also includes: - Personal support of sports idols; - a chance not only to see the game "live", but also to get an autograph after the match, and if you're lucky, a T-shirt; - where, if not at the stadium, you can throw out emotions in full and shout: “Spartak” is the champion!”, having heard the same sweet words from the fans' hearts from another ten thousand people; - only the stadium provides an opportunity to share and exchange opinions with knowledgeable people about the game, the opponent's goalkeeper, the grandmother of the referee, the 89th minute offside position and the latest transfer news in the English Championship; - on the podium you can combine business with pleasure: watch football and sunbathe, and in late autumn - have fun playing "snowballs"; - the stadium is a great place to meet and make friendships, including with beautiful girls looking at it; - watching an important match will save you from a possible quarrel with your family and, especially, elderly neighbors who want to relax after work, who will not have to listen to endless cries of “Well, where are you hitting ?!”; - no need to skip half a time for a walk with the dog; - in case of defeat, you probably will not break the TV from chagrin and will have time to “let off steam” on the way home.
Minuses
- It takes a long time to get to the stadium, especially during rush hours and on weekdays; - a ticket or subscription costs a lot of money; - on the podium you will not have adequate escape from heat, cold, rain, wind, snow and mat; - you will not be able to “turn off football” even if your team is losing 1: 7, you will have to endure this nightmare until the final whistle; - you do not watch the replay from five cameras of the most beautiful game moments and, of course, goals scored; - even beer is prohibited at the stadium; - "mineral water", which also cannot be brought with you, is too expensive in the buffet, and usually there is not enough for everyone; - after the match you can be beaten by the opponent's fans upset by the failure; - you will not be able to see how well the OMON, hated by fans, can work.
Pros of the TV
- home comfort, coziness, sofa, beer, refrigerator, wife or cat by your side; - the TV can always be switched to another channel or completely fall asleep under the boring voice of the commentator and zeros on the scoreboard; - shouting "Beat!" or “Mazila!”, do not be afraid to offend your neighbor in the podium inadvertently and get it in the eye if he suddenly supports another team; - modern broadcasts allow you to repeatedly see all the most interesting not only on the field and the bench, but also on the stands; - this is a significant saving of time and money (transport, especially when a match or tournament is held not in Moscow, but in Brazil, a ticket to a game, a program, food, treatment after a fight with a Zenit fan or hospital stay in the event of a fight with riot police) …
Minuses
- electricity in the house may suddenly disappear or the only TV set may break down; - the wife will persistently offer to go with her to her mother or to the theater; - you will be urgently called to work or sent on a business trip (and you can go to the stadium without a phone); - exactly on the day of the game for the "gold" of the championship, the long-awaited relatives from Yekaterinburg will arrive and they need to be met at the station; - a small child is sleeping behind the wall, and the neighbors have already asked to make the sound quieter; - you will not be able to buy a program for the match and a brand new fan scarf, and after the victorious completion of the game, stop by with a friend "for a minute" in a nearby cafe.

As you can see, almost every plus has its own minus. As well as vice versa. And when choosing: a stadium or a TV, you need to focus, first of all, on what signs are more at the moment, what is more profitable and more important for you; for your age, condition and capabilities. After all, football is only a game, and someday it also ends.
