Set yourself up for work. Before taking any steps and looking for specific places to study, you need to firmly believe that the desire to study is not a momentary whim. Mentally prepare yourself for the fact that fitness classes will take a certain amount of effort and time, that after the first workouts, uncomfortable sensations in the whole body are possible and even likely, but the result is worth it.

If you can, find yourself some company. It can be a colleague at work or a friend, a neighbor or just a good acquaintance - in any case, starting together is much easier and more fun. And besides, you will positively influence each other, and in those moments when one of you wants to be lazy and skip a workout, the other will not allow you to do this.

Pay special attention to directly choosing a fitness club. This should take into account its location, interior decoration, training schedule and training of trainers. It is optimal if the fitness club will be located not far from home or work, which will allow you not to waste extra time on the road.

Having decided on the club, choose a convenient time for classes. Most often, trainings take place in the evening, but many clubs also recruit daytime groups. Therefore, you should proceed from your own convenience and capabilities.

Think about a payment method. Many fitness clubs offer payment for each lesson or a subscription for a certain period (from a month or more). On the one hand, in terms of each lesson, the subscription is much more profitable, and on the other hand, if you skip workouts, their cost is not compensated. When you pay for each lesson, you pay only for the workouts you attend. But there is one very important aspect: for many, it is a subscription for a sufficiently long period that helps to find strength and not start training (because it becomes a pity for the money already paid). Therefore, if you know that sometimes you may simply not have enough willpower, buy a subscription.

Do not try to be ashamed of your excess weight (even if there is one) and clumsiness. Believe me, none of the students cares about your figure and the fact that you are not much like a ballerina from the Bolshoi Theater. So focus on your workout, not how you look.
