Paralympic Games
Winter competitions for people with disabilities, which traditionally follow the Olympics, will also be held in the capital of the Olympic Games and will be held at the same venues as the Sochi Olympics. 1,350 athletes from 40 countries will take part in the competition. The opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games will take place on March 7, the competition will last 9 days from March 7 to 16.

Formula 1 Grand Prix
Another significant sporting event awaits Russians in autumn. For the first time in the modern history of Russia, exactly 100 years after the competitions in our country, the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix will take place on October 12 in Sochi. The "Royal Races" will take place on a new track in the Olympic Park, which was specially built for this event.
