Speed and reaction, if well developed, help to always stay alert and avoid dangerous and even fatal situations. Special exercises allow you to learn how to quickly respond to stimuli that precede any action.
Instructions
Step 1
Start your workout with a fairly simple play-style exercise called “clappers”. Ask your partner to stand in front of you and place your palm so that it is comfortable for you to hit it. Your task is to hit your palm with your fist, and your partner is to try to get ahead of you and remove it in time. After a while, switch roles.
Step 2
Try another simple exercise often used by actors or athletes in synchronized sports. Stand in front of your partner. Let him make whatever movements that come to mind. Your task is to repeat everything after them exactly, acting as synchronously as possible. The rate of change of movements should increase over time. This will help your brain work harder, giving instant orders to your muscles.
Step 3
Try practicing with a group of people. The well-known game "Take a chair" will do. In the center of the room, chairs are placed in the form of a circle, the number of which is 1 less than the number of players. Music turns on and the participants begin to move around the chairs. As soon as the music stops, you need to quickly sit in any chair. Those who did not make it in time drop out, taking one of the chairs with them. In the end, there is one winner, the fastest and most agile of all.
Step 4
Run short distances. This sport trains the "explosive" speed of muscles and reaction to the surrounding conditions, because in a short time it is necessary to get to the finish line as quickly as possible. Increase your running speed gradually with each run, otherwise you may become overworked.
Step 5
Sign up for the boxing section. It is an excellent sport for training speed and reaction, although it is quite traumatic. Gradually, you will learn to anticipate the behavior of your opponents and quickly retaliate.
Step 6
Develop not only muscle speed and response, but also brain. Have your partner prepare a certain number of questions in an area in which you understand at least a little. Then you can train in several different ways, for example, answer as many questions as possible in a minute, or have time to answer a question in 10-20 seconds, etc.
