One of the elements of break dance is head spinning. It makes the dance spectacular and amazes with its technique. The dancers are sure: in order to learn how to rotate on your head, you need to be able to stand on it. But this is not all that is required to learn how to dance like that.

Instructions

Step 1

Practice the headstand first. It is better to perform training on a rug so that it does not hurt. As soon as you get into the stance, watch your feet. It is not necessary to hold them straight up for added stability. It will be better if they are slightly tilted to the bottom. You need to stand as much as you can stand. If you can't stand on your head without support, then to start learning, you can train leaning on a wall.

Step 2

You can start learning head spin (from the English head - head, spin - rotation) only when you have perfectly mastered the ability to stand on your head. If you feel confident, then start learning slow spins. First, you need to turn at a small angle of rotation, the so-called small quarter turns. At the same time, the legs should look to the sides, and so that one leg is on the same level with the other. Because this is the only way to keep balance. You can control the position of the legs with your hands.

Step 3

After working out the quarters, you can begin to study half rotations. Everything that was done on the quadruple turns must be done here, too, taking into account the fact that the area of rotation is larger. Hands have to push off harder now. And when you feel that you have become an ace in quadruple and half rotations, you can move on to full rotations. After each turn, you need to put your hands on the floor, push off with them and continue all over again.

Step 4

By the time you have mastered the full revolutions, you need to study glides (from the English glide - sliding) further in the technique. The glide is performed as follows. Speed is gained with the help of full revolutions, pushing off with hands and swinging legs, periodically spreading them to the sides. When spinning after a few turns, remove your hands and slide. With the help of such movements, you can turn several turns without using your hands.

Step 5

After all the movements have been worked out, you can start the actual dance. The most important thing is that you can combine the movements as you please. There are no strict restrictions on this matter.
