On the other hand, there are many examples of how people completely mastered yoga on their own. In this case, it is important to have good materials for study - books or video tutorials. Before starting classes, it is advisable to consult a qualified doctor and find out possible contraindications, they may relate to certain exercises, for example, inverted poses or twists. Set aside a place for yourself in the house where you can calmly study for at least an hour. The best time for yoga is in the morning, but here everything is individual, if you like it (or have time), do it in the evening. Of course, regularity is important, and the greatest effect will be from daily activities at about the same time. But it is also important not to force yourself, because if you do something through force, then the healing effect will be small. Listen to yourself and your body. Often a person, exercising once a week or two, gradually gets a taste and devotes more and more free time to asanas.
Step 3
It is believed that you can start doing yoga at any age, with any physical fitness. Flexibility will come gradually. The main thing is not to overexert yourself, perform all the asanas to the best of your ability, you should not strive to immediately sit on a split or stand on your head. Trying to perform even a difficult exercise, you are already recovering. Follow a simple program until you feel the need to complicate it. At first, you can practice for only half an hour or even twenty minutes. Practice the same sequence of simple asanas. Gradually increase the duration and also learn new asanas. Step 4
Work out in clothes that do not restrict movement, preferably barefoot. Get a special non-slippery mat. There should be two to four hours between eating and starting yoga. Clear your mind of vanity and thoughts of plans for tomorrow. The calmer you are, the greater the effect. Don't worry and take your time.
