The modern movement of street athletes - adherents of parkour - surprises and delights people who dream of mastering the same tricks and feeling free in the metropolis. Anyone who devotes enough time to training, learns to feel their body, develops flexibility, agility and dexterity can learn parkour. In this article, we'll show you how to master the basics of parkour yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
When learning parkour, you need to master the smoothness and uniformity of movements, and, importantly, use a creative approach in teaching. You should enjoy exercising.
Step 2
Exercise as much as you want, and only exercise if the exercises bring you inner harmony and satisfaction. Learn to be tolerant of failure - doing parkour tricks will invariably fail at first.
Step 3
Be patient and determined - only by working on a trick can you bring it to perfection.
Step 4
Do not overdo it with training - beginners in parkour do not always have a sense of proportion, and therefore they are exhausted, training the same movement in a row. It is not worthwhile to separately work on each specific movement for a long time. Your goal is not to learn one trick, but to learn how to smoothly and beautifully flow from one movement to another, and these transitions should not be mechanical.
Step 5
Learn to intuitively determine what trick you need to perform in a given situation, and feel the capabilities of your body. There are no definite rules in parkour - don't put all obstacles under one standard. Avoid obstacles, taking into account your individual characteristics, forming your own sequence of spontaneous movements.
Step 6
In the process of training, perform several movements in a row at once, trying to make the transitions between them more organic. Pay attention to the position of your legs - this is important for the correct execution of tricks.
Step 7
Determine the most optimal speed of movement that will help you move quickly and beautifully, overcoming obstacles and developing your technique. Over time, you will notice how you develop your own style of movement, incomparable with other athletes.
