Football is one of the most popular sports games, and if it can be imagined without a special football uniform on the players, then football does not make any sense without a ball. Since the balls are subjected to heavy loads during the game, from time to time they break and burst, and in this case the players have two choices - buy a new ball or fix the previous one. In order to sew a soccer ball, you do not need additional knowledge - you only need strong and thick nylon threads, an awl and a loop, rolled from an elastic steel string with a diameter of half a millimeter.

Instructions

Step 1

To begin with, take a string 20 cm long and roll a loop out of it, heating it in the middle on a candle or lighter flame. The finished buttonhole should be 10 cm long.

Step 2

Using the M5-M6 screw, clamp both ends of the string to prevent the loop from unrolling, and fasten it to the metal rod. Bend the end of the loop with a small crochet hook to make it easier to pull it through the holes.

Step 3

Now prepare a spot for the seam - find out which pentagons of the ball have the torn seams and rip them apart, taking care not to damage the ball. Stitch the seams until they stop coming apart on their own.

Step 4

Strengthen the knot near the corner of the pentagon, tying it several times for strength, and then pass the loop of the string into the hole of the knot, passing it through both holes of the two pentagons to be sewn. Insert the end of the nylon thread into the loop and pull through the holes.

Step 5

Tighten the thread and tie a double knot so that it is inside the ball. Insert a loop into the two right-hand holes and pull one end of the thread from left to right. Then insert the loop into the corresponding two holes on the left side and pull the other end of the thread from right to left.

Step 6

Continue sewing the pentagons in a similar manner, guiding the threads crosswise in relation to each other. As you sew to the corner of the pentagon, pull the thread tight and tie it several times. Cut the thread and push the knot inward with a wooden stick.
