The Spanish stage of the Formula 1 World Championship is traditionally held in Barcelona on the Circuit de Catalunya. Fans can watch the Spanish Grand Prix not only on TV, but also live from the stands.
It is necessary

Instructions
Step 1
You can order a ticket to the Formula 1 stage in Barcelona and book a hotel on the circuit's official website www.circuitcat.com. Decide what type of ticket you would like to buy: 1-day no seat, 1-day with seat, 3-day at the stand with numbered seats. Select the location of the grandstand and the parking area.
Step 2
Buying a ticket gives you a number of advantages: you can follow the race on the big screen, visit the pit boxes on Thursday before the Grand Prix and see the pilots and mechanics, attend pre-season trainings for free, listen to the radio commentary on the race on the track. Please note that the earlier you buy a ticket, the cheaper it will cost you: from September 1 to November 30, there is a 20% discount, from December 1 to March 1 - 10%, and from March 2, the sale is made at full price.
Step 3
On the same site you can book a hotel. In addition, by taking advantage of the special offer "Hotel + Tickets", you will save money and receive a number of additional privileges: the ability to move freely around all sections of the race track on the days before arrivals, support and assistance from the agency staff during the entire period of your stay, promotional and souvenir products with the logos of the Spanish Grand Prix, etc.
Step 4
If you are not on a budget, you can purchase a ticket to the Formula 1 paddock club. You will receive a seat in the stands at the best vantage point, access to the pits for the participating teams, a VIP pass to the pit lane, a place in the VIP parking near the entrance to the paddock, branded gifts, the opportunity to appreciate fine cuisine and a bar with a variety of wines. But keep in mind that such a ticket is an order of magnitude more expensive than usual.
Step 5
Then make a reservation or buy a plane ticket to Barcelona. If the airlines of your city carry out such flights, you will not need transfers, otherwise choose the most convenient option for departure from Moscow.
Step 6
Apply to the Consulate of the Kingdom of Spain in Moscow to obtain a tourist visa. Pay the consular fee, prepare and submit a package of documents:
- a valid international passport and its copy;
- old passport and its copy;
- 2 color photographs 3, 5 x 4, 5 without corners and ovals on a white background, matte, large face, 70-80% of the photo;
- a certificate from the place of work indicating the position, salary and contact details (address, phone number) on the company's letterhead with the signature of the manager and the seal;
- bank statement, credit or debit card and card account statement with confirmation of the availability of funds in the amount of 60 euros per day per person for the entire period of stay in Spain;
- reservation or original ticket;
- a health insurance policy valid for the entire period of stay in the Schengen countries, with an insured amount of at least 30,000 euros;
- a photocopy of the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation;
- a questionnaire in the form of a consulate;
- a notarized power of attorney, if the documents are submitted by another person.
Step 7
You can entrust all the hassle of booking tickets for races, booking a hotel room and air tickets, insurance and obtaining a visa to a tour operator or an agency organizing trips to international sports competitions. Study the offers of different companies, compare prices for services. Barcelona is famous for its magnificent architecture, so choose a company that provides city tours.
Step 8
Arriving in Barcelona, you can rent a car if you are over 23 years old and your driver's license was issued at least 2 years ago. You will probably need to pay the car owner a deposit equal to the rental price.
Step 9
If you are traveling with a travel company, it will not be difficult for you to get to the Catalonia circuit, since the transfer is included in the list of services. You can independently get to the place of the race by suburban trains to the Montmelo station, as well as by car from Barcelona along Avinguda Meridiana and further along the C-33, C-17 and C-35 lines until the turn to the Catalunya highway.
