A harmonious body is the goal of any person who goes to the gym. We go to the gym in order to lose extra pounds, to develop our body, to give our body the necessary cardio load. With the development of a harmonious body, the lag of any muscle group from others is unacceptable, but you can often see athletes with strong legs but weak calves. To build calves on your legs, a few basic exercises are enough, the correct implementation of which will give you the desired result.
It is necessary
- - Barbell
- - Kettlebell
Instructions
Step 1
Place the barbell with a weight that is light enough for you to stand upright and heavy enough for you to feel the load. Place your toes on a surface four to five centimeters above floor level.
Rise sharply on the toes of your feet to the end, linger at the top point for a split second and lower yourself back. Repeat the exercise fifteen times, then take a thirty-second break and do six more approaches.
Step 2
Stand on one leg against a wall or a support that you can hold onto. Take a twenty kilogram kettlebell in your hand. Rise on one leg as high as possible, firmly contracting the calf muscle.
Hold at the top point for a second, then lower yourself. Do twenty reps, then change legs. Do the same exercise on the other leg, then switch to the first leg.
Repeat eight sets for each leg. Try not to take breaks between work on each leg separately.
